Essential Qualifications for Allahabad High Court Law Clerk Vacacy 2023
Three Years’ Professional/Five Years Integrated Degree in Law from any Law College or recognized University throughout the country.
Applications shall be accepted from such ‘Law Graduates’ who have not started practicing as an advocate nor are engaged in any other profession or vocation/service.
Candidates who have appeared in LL.B. (Final Year) Examination and are awaiting results may also apply.
Only those Law Graduates who have scored not less than 55% marks in their LL.B. examination are eligible to apply for the post of Law Clerks (Trainee).
They shall be required to submit their final year mark sheet of the LL.B. Examination at the time of the interview, which may be held in the month of July 2023 , failing which their candidature be cancelled.
Computer knowledge, i.e., Data Entry, Word Processing, and Computer Operations.
Selection will be based on the following:

A Screening Test of all the eligible candidates will be held to short list eligible candidates for the interview.
The screening test will be of written/descriptive type and of two (02) hours duration.
Maximum marks of the screening test will be 100 . The marks of the screening test will not be considered for preparation of the final merit list.
There will be two (02) questions in the test:
- The first question will be for the candidates to write their views or short essay on the given topic in 1000 words.
- The second question will be on legal problems & writing research relating to it.
Five (05) times of the number of vacancies will be called for interview.
Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Interview only.

On successful submission of the form a Registration Number and password will be generated.
Login to the application portal by clickin on the Login button and using Registration Number and Password generated previously.
Upload scanned copy of your passport photograph and signature as per the requirements.
Data once submitted cannot be altered afterwards.
Preview your application by clicking on preview your form, verify your data and only then proceed for payment.
On clicking proceed for payment you will be taken to State Bank Of India website. Follow the instructions therein to make your application fee payment (Please note you shall enter the registration number provide to you after successful submission of your form.
After making payment keep a record of transaction reference number.
After paying the requisite application fee on State Bank Of India portal, candidate must update the transaction details (Transaction Reference Number generally starting with DU and Transaction date) by logging into this portal. Failing which their candidature may be rejected.
